Talks with India not possible until revocation of 'illegal action of Aug 5': PM Office

The Head of the state's Office (PMO) on Tuesday explained that exchanges with India were just conceivable if the "unlawful activity of August 5, 2019" is turned around and "without India's disavowal of this step, dealings are impractical".

In a message to his Indian partner during a meeting with UAE's Al Arabiya news channel, PM Shehbaz had called for talks between the two nations saying "let us plunk down on the table and have serious and earnest discussions to determine our copying issues like Kashmir".
"In Kashmir, blatant basic freedoms infringement were occurring every day of the week", he said, adding that India had usurped any similarity to independence given to the Kashmiris as per Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.

"The independence was disavowed in August 2019. Minorities in India were being abused," Shehbaz said. "This needs to stop so that this message can spread around the world that India is ready for talks."

Shehbaz said India and Pakistan were neighbors and they needed to live with one another.

It is ultimately up to us whether we live quietly and gain territory or fight with each other, sit idly by and active.
We have three conflicts with India and it just brought more hopelessness, destitution and joblessness to individuals. We have taken in our example and we need to live in harmony gave we can determine our authentic issues.


"We need to decrease destitution, accomplish flourishing, give preparing and government assistance workplaces, work for our family members and not squander our abundance on bombs and ammo, and that is all there is to it..

Explaining the assertions, the PMO representative said that PM Shehbaz "had reliably kept up with that Pakistan and India should determine their two-sided issues, particularly the center issue of Jammu and Kashmir, through discourse and serene means".

"Anyway the PM has over and again expressed on record that talks can occur after India had switched its unlawful activity of August 5, 2019; without India's repudiation of this step, exchanges are impractical," the assertion added.

"The settlement of the Kashmir debate should be as per the UN goals and the yearnings of individuals of Jammu and Kashmir," the representative focused on adding that the PM had "made this position extremely clear in his meeting with Al Arabiya news channel during his new visit to the UAE".see more
