What Is New COVID 19 Variant BF.7

CORONA VIRUS OMICRON BF,7

There is chaos in China due to the Corona virus, with hundreds of people dying every day. Hospitals are crowded every day. The COVID virus has been wreaking havoc in China since restrictions were eased in December. The Omicron bf.7 sub variant is now driving the increase in cases in this country. The infection rate of this variant is very high because the  value of the BF.7 variant is 18, which means that one person infected with this variant can transmit the virus to 18 people. This is why COVID has spread so quickly in China. Here in this article, we will tell you about the variant of COVID BF.7, the new symptoms of the variant and the precautions, so read carefully. Since the beginning of November, the cases of corona virus are increasing all over the world. It is now under control in India, but China is struggling with it. Some estimates put China at risk of nearly 2 million deaths due to the recent surge. One epidemiologist even tweeted that 60 percent of China's population could be infected in the next few months. The spread of Corona in China is a cause of concern for many countries, but there is no serious threat from it in India. China had restrictions related to Covid a few months ago. How did the new variant get the name BF.7?

BF.7 is actually a short form. Full name: BA.5.2.1.7. This is a sub variant of Omicron's BA.5 variant. Omicron's BA.5 variant has the highest number of reported cases worldwide. About 76.2% of all cases. However, the BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants did not catch on much in India. We have the highest number of cases of BA.2.75. The coronavirus mutates and mutations can create many variants and sub-variants. This process is called convergent evolution. These sub-variants have been given names such as BA.2.75.2, BF.7, and BQ.1.1. These names are determined by the fact that which sub-variant is derived from which variable.

How dangerous is the Omicron sub-variant?

Reports in China indicate that BF.7 is more dangerous than the rest of the Omicron sub-variants. It has the highest transmissible because it spreads quickly. A person infected with BF.7 can infect many people.

Types Of Omicron.

The remaining types of Omicron can infect 4 people on average and the different types have shorter incubation periods. The incubation period is the time between exposure to the virus and the appearance of the first symptoms. Meaning, once you connect to your BF.7, you can grab it right away.

Did BF.7 also make it to India?

Omicron's BA.1 and BA.2 sub types were found in Wave earlier this year. Later BA.4 and BA.5 also came. However, both of them caused more havoc in European countries. Similarly, very few cases of BF.7 have been observed in India. One case of this variant was reported in India in July, two in September and one in November, and the variant was found in Gujarat and Odisha, India. BF.7.

Symptoms:

Symptoms of this type are similar to other Omicron sub types. The affected person may show symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, vomiting and diarrhea. This sub-type can cause severe disease in people with weakened immune systems. If someone has pain in their body for a long time, they should get a COVID test. Other symptoms may include sore throat, fatigue, phlegm and runny nose.
